A SCOTTISH charity has picked up an award for a project which helped reduce youth crime by 90%.
Includem was praised for its work to help prevent young people becoming entrenched in gang violence.
The Gangs Pilot project, run in partnership with the then Strathclyde Police, saw offending rates fall by 90%.
The charity won the Investing in Preventing Offending and Reducing Offending category.
Angela Morgan, Includem's Chief Executive, said: "Includem is delighted to have received this recognition.
"Our staff are committed to improving young people's lives and reducing harm to themselves and others, so this award linked to our service to reduce re- offending by young people in Glasgow is a great accolade".
Includem beat North Lanarkshire Council's Community Bridges Project and Dundee City Council's Women's Offenders Team to win the award.
